Marketing for JD Williams. The caller asked me if I was a Mr or a Mrs, which didn t get things off to a good start. Then started arguing with me when I questioned who they were, promised to call back later, even though it was obvious that I didn t want that (it felt more like a threat than a nicety) and put the phone down on me when I was in the middle of trying to explain that the person they were trying to speak to didn t live at my house anymore. Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. I soon realised that they were just responding to my application regarding an air source heat pump and solar pv panels on either Facebook or Instagram. They are actually a very friendly and knowledgeable company.

I had a call from this number where a somewhat threatening female voice informed me that criminal charges were about to be brought against me. I'm a 74 year old female who, while maybe not quite fitting the description of an angel, has not committed any crimes, heinous or otherwise. Were I the type who was easily intimidated I might have pressed 1 to see further details but luckily I'm not so I didn't. I'd love to punch this so and so right in the kisser but that WOULD be criminal - but deserved!!

I ve been called by this number and also 08435571598 - Scottish Power about carrying out a bill comparison . Explained we were not interested, happy as we were and to remove our number from their call list but this has obviously not happened as they still ring me nearly every day at least twice at different times of day & evening = 13 times in total since early September!
