He told me the finance was approved ready to pay out I had to give account details I did but I had money in the account I ended up giving my credit card details when I recieved a message saying if I authorised a payment I replyed no whilst on the phone to this person I lost my plot....! 07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

"Investing advice" (? seemed really shady to me), caller wanted me to go to a website (edufintech.org or something like that) and wouldn't tell me what was the point of his call. Had to hang up with the caller still talking (wouldn't take a polite "thanks, but no thanks and have a nice day." = typical aggressive telemarketing?).
