Claim to be fro the bank notifying me of two transactions and a press 1 or 2 to activate or contact fraud team. My bank has a different way of contacting so another scam call.
Automated call said they were from the bank and suspicious transactions had happened. They gave amounts (£1100 from Western Union and £700 from Amazon) and then told me to press 1 for ... etc. Fraud SCAM

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. SCAM Someone with an Indian accent called stating they were calling from Microsoft Windows about hackers using my email. They put me through to a technician and they started getting a bit angry with me as I could not understand what they were saying because of their accent. They told me that hackers were using my computer and that I was not to use my computer and to take it down to their offices in Reading!

Scammers got my name form Mail Order Catalogue sais I was due a 70% discount off restaurant meals. Lots of people heard in background 'call centre' , I put the phone down to the Asian accented lady. WHY does the Government let these people trade? BEWARE. just put the phone down or you WILL LOSE MONEY.

Two text messages from this number: 1) Saturday 28th January 2023 advising that Apple Pay temporarily suspended due to unusual activity and link provided to renew wallet. 2) Sunday 29th January advising that unusual activity occurred on at 4:34 AM and temporary suspension and same link provided. I called back and it went to a D2MS answer machine. D2MS work as callers for many companies including Butterbox so I am unaware if this was a scam call or not.
Calls from 0115-677-5963 are a Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK & JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was in use and if a voiceline. If you'd spoken, your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con-artist would then be phoning you later.
Fraud - Purports to be from my bank - didn't mention which one - tells me two suspicious transactions on my account .....you can guess the rest - another BLACKLISTED number on the handset!
