It was a number I was asked to text from my daughter who had lost her phone. I don’t have a daughter and msg started ‘hi mum’ I am a man. Lol
It said it was from the UK (where I am) but when I went to answer my battery went flat and cut off so I looked up on here to see who I'd missed. I don't know anyone in Russia.
Fraud Automated voice telling me there has been a payment request for £800. from my VISA card. They then ask you to press 1. Obviously I didn't.

Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.
