Got another call today from this number with a recorded message about triple glazing. I pressed 1 to see who called me. The person who answered was very surprised about receiving the return call! I explained why I was ringing. He said his organisation was "Energy Savings Experts". I gave him an earful about TPS and privacy. He then said "So you are not interested in energy savings then?". Got it in one, mate.

The number is legitimately Carphone Warehouse. I made a purchase over the phone and instantly regretted it as I was worried I'd just been scammed, but I rang up Carphone Customer Services and it was a legitimate transaction that had gone through their system. The calls may be annoying, but the number is trustworthy.

GOT THEIR NUMBER!! IF you want to call them through their parent company Plantec Holdings Ltd. on 0870 285505. It s taken lots of digging and loads of numbers that no longer exist (surprise, surprise), but you can check this by Googling Plantec Holdings Ltd and First Legal Support and it will be the top hit! Not that I would encourage everybody to call them up and complain, but how many of us have had calls? I ve also threatened to report them to OFCOM. Do not accept be bullied by nuisance calls!
