This is clearly a fraudulent call - advising that £900 was about to be charged to a debit/credit card!! They need to be exposed, so that they do NOT con someone!!

Scam caller - claimed to be from Virgin. I kept them on the line for a while then when I told them I was aware they were a scammer they immediately became very abusive. Vulnerable people could be taken in.

Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. My other phone there was no message just the bleeps to tell you it was not accessible. I won't bother with this I'll ring the police. This is utterly disgraceful and meant to worry the recipient.

I called the number someone called Tom answered and then hung up. I was then diverted to another number 01259 333 035 in Alloa, Scotland. This 2nd number had called me yesterday too. It seems suspicious.

SCAM - Unsolicited phone call from a number I didn't recognise. Answered but didn't speak and heard only silence. After five seconds the call hung up so no doubt an automated system that waits to hear someone's voice. Without a doubt a scam.
