This is a phishing scam. Also received a call from 01282866466 which is the same scam
Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.
Fake HRMC from a mobile , sounds like a recorded message threatening further action, if you don't press 1 .Seems like they have changed their phone again.

Ignored but just as phone began to ring I received a one-time-passcode from O2. This is a well known scam, they ask for the passcode, then use the passcode to enter your account, lock you out, order new handsets etc. and leave you with the £1,500 bill for a new iPhone. Don't let these cunts catch you out and warn your less fraud-savvy relatives

This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. They were convincing, and said if I don’t give them answers to the security questions then they can’t block the payments. I believe they had my card details already, so if this has happened to you cancel your card for the account they seem to have and get
I believe this is a number possibly from Pure Cremation. I you have shown interest in arranging your own future cremation via your phone used and did not do so they will call you back on this number and another. I did not answer.

I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. A very suspect call. Phone rang and after a few seconds of silence the call terminated. I would never try to phone back in case of the call-back scam which can put you through to a premium number which makes massive charges. This kind of call, even if a genuine cold call, can be very worrying to some people and I abhorr the method.

He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. Told him my phone was not internet connected as I found it to distracting and he hung up without a goodbye.I suspect the thought of a work issued laptop put him off as it would have good security and catch the rogue link he wanted to send me?
