Covid scammer "NHS: We identified you as a contact of someone who recently tested positive for Omicron. You must book a home test kit: https://prc-tracing-people.com".

Received a call from this number advising me that I had opened an account with them in 2015 and they had some info for me, I said that I was not interested, at this the caller got quite irate. One minute later on 07703290831 they rang back and started to be very abusive saying that I should not have hang-up on them. Both numbers have been blocked.

TAXES / HMRC Claimed that I was due in court for not paying tax. Number is a mobile number and voice was automated in the background. Please be careful!

We had a phone call from this number claiming to be Sky. They were telling us that someone was using our hub and that they were going to send us a "security app" . When they couldn't tell us our Sky account number correctly, we hung up.

Text message saying my account had an attempted access from a different device. No details. Blocked immediately

SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.

Scam informing of refund from Sky Telephone. Wanted my debit card details. I kept giving them wrong information eventually they gave up.

10 calls to myself and my partner continued even though we opted out of marketing from the beginning and after asking to be removed from call lists

Called us trying to get us to “renew” a care plan, and only wanted our bank account details so they could send us renewal details. Claimed that “under GDPR, they could not retain those details”. Said that as soon as they got those details they would call back and verify then send details. Kept trying to “explain”. When told it sounded like a scam, they transferred me to another person. Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(
