Fraud SCAM Fraud Claimed to be from Vodaphone, said that an attempt to change my account number had been flagged up, called my number to verify with an old address (first flag) Second flag was when I asked if I could have a verification email I received a what amounted to a "yes but hurry up and give me the number" And of course, when I received a recovery/account change text, the first words of said text were DO NOT TELL ANYONE THIS NUMBER, POLICE OR VODAPHONE EMPLOYEES INCLUDED. This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.
This is a scam: They pretend to be family and then ask you to pay 2 bills and they’ll pay you back.

This number informed me that 2 card transactions had been noted as suspicious: Over £500 with Amazon and an International transfer of £1300. Press 1 or 2.....etc. I cancelled the call and dialled the number and got TS TOURS. Who are they and why are they?
I have received 3 text messages from a number claiming to be BTBusiness asking me to call them back at this number or text STOP to 60251. As I don't have an account with BT at all, I've ignored them but 3 messages in 3 days is a bit annoying.

Call was at 6.41am. I rang back - not sure if that was wise - there was a mumbled (male) response, something about 'delivery' was all I could make out even though I asked which company. Told them they'd called a wrong number and hung up, feeling uneasy.
Number vaguely familiar but with no identification unable to be more positive. Leaving it at neutral for the time being.

SCAM - Unsolicited call stating they spoke to me ages ago and implied I'd agreed to sponsor books for local school. Very slick, found out where my child goes and said 'headmaster will call you yo thank you'......then start pressurising payment over the phone and calling back daily. More needs to be done to shut these types of scammer down!!!

It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

One of those annoying hanging up callers, so highly likely to be FRAUD or SCAM. Cannot be phoned back up, so just block them as phone pests.

Call about insurance policy for domestic equipment (which isn't covered) expiring then telling you your current insurance you do have is quadruple in cost when it is for life of item covered.
Missed call from this number. No voicemail left. I didn't bother to phone back just blocked the number.

Called saying it was my bank , I (maybe stupidly) gave them details about recent transactions and the sort code snd account number. As soon as I had done this I got cut off and it’s now permanently engaged so I am now worried it is a scam..
