Human caller, unwanted. Claimed to have “assisted you with a XYZ policy some years ago”. But couldn’t get our surname right! I normally avoid all 0161 numbers these days because they all seem to be unwanted but was handed this call without checking. I realise that there are legitimate callers from the Manchester area but none of these have called me in the last few years. Thanked the caller and rang off. They didn’t ring back!

Tried to coerce me into phoning a premium rate number by saying there was a warrant out for my arrest

I followed a discount code link for Dominos pizza. My payment didn't go through & I received an automated call from "Santander fraud department" tel no 0800 640 6114. I tried to pay with my TSB card, again payment was declined & I immediately received an automated call from "TSB fraud line on this no 0345 3511 688. Clearly a scam. Just used the same card straight after on Amazon with no issue.

Called today but didn't get through our BT Call Guardian phone system - best thing we've bought - stops all these UK calls plus the international ones. Highly recommended if you are getting many of these a day.
