"Investing advice" (? seemed really shady to me), caller wanted me to go to a website (edufintech.org or something like that) and wouldn't tell me what was the point of his call. Had to hang up with the caller still talking (wouldn't take a polite "thanks, but no thanks and have a nice day." = typical aggressive telemarketing?).
Rang me today, said i had a HMRC fraud in my name, and If i didnt connect to them I would be arrested shortly.

called my 84 year old mother today mentioning landlines and HSBC. She's been made very aware of scams so he didn't get anywhere, but hasn't come up in any scam searches so a miniscule chance it could have been legit. Won't put money on that though

This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. Sometimes I answer this number by accident and recently I asked them to stop ringing and take my number off their list, which has never happened as they refused to do so. SCAM Claim to be from infasset.com and able to offer investment advice, directing you to that website. Unable to answer basic questions about whether they have financial licences. Eventually they ask you to download anydesk, which is remote access software. Evidently their endgame is trying to obtain personal information. Block the number.
