Now I m sure that a 13 year old doesn t have a car or a license and they definitely shouldn t be calling a 13 year old.ive showed him how to block numbers and blocked the number who called him. They have been calling for months, sometimes 3 or 4 call a day, pretending to be from Technical Services Talktalk and saying some thing is wrong with my wifi system when I well know nothing is wrong at all. They are becoming a real nuisance.

Male with Indian accent claiming to have my profile from the credit investigation agency. Lots of background noise and Mr Michael is not the best way to address somebody if you really are from a debt collection agency. I laughed at him, told him to go away and hung up. Blatantly a scam!

Endless calls from this company - number is usually withheld. As soon as I ask to be removed from database they hangup. I used to be polite and try to get more information from them but it was an even greater waste of my time. How can we stop these calls - I am already listed with the TPS.

If you tried to ring it back and it said the number hasn t been recognised, then it doesn t exist and is a scam.

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
