This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. 07944341914 called 27 Jan 23 at 12:28 hrs. Female recorded voice claimed to be calling from Amazon about an order I'd placed for an iPhone......which I had not. The presentation and topic was very similar to a scam call a few years ago, Hung up.

Claim to be fraud squad identifying whether a couple of large transactions were authorised? Asked to press 1 or 2 if you allowed it or not. Never chose anything.

Fraud I enquired about a pension transfer from the Netherlands to UK and cot contacted by Online Mortgage Advisor (OMA) dsiplaying this nr. I have not been further contacted and I can't get in contact with OMA either as the nr is not callable, which is a breach with OFCOM regulations.

The idea is to ask you to download remote desktop software to gain access to your computer, then attempt to bamboozle you with made up technical nonsense whilst in the background they copy your files and internet settings in the hope that yo have stored online banking credentials.
