Karim called at 14.26. Asked why I'd cancelled my appointment for this evening. Apparently I'd emailed to cancel at 10.47 because my partner has covid. I haven't sent any emails or got any appointments. It must be a scam but I've no idea what he planned to get out of it, maybe if the story fitted my circumstances he'd try to get a cancellation fee off of me. The worrying thing is that he knew my full name. I can't think of any way that could happen.

As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

It claims to be "EVRI", wanting to reschedule a parcel delivery... I'm not expecting any parcel, so I'm sure it's just another one of the vast amount of scams that are going around. when is this system going to be updated to cope with the fact that displayed and 1471 numbers are not reliable? This number called me at 09:30 on a bank holiday and followed the usual fake call centre routine of no-one there to start with then suddenly burst into life (and I hung up beofre hearing what they had to say). I don't believe for one minute it was the genuine BFM office, they would have no reason to phone me even during normal working hours. Faked number!

SCAM!!! Received a call from this number and I was advised a debit had been made on my VISA card for £900 Asked female her name, (illegible) Owen. Asked her for her office address to verify her legitimacy as I was online at the time. Gave me address for BT HQ in London. Started telling me quite abruptly to check it, hurry up, go check it and so forth and then went into a barrage of offensive swearing and abuse from her. She then terminated the call.
