unrecognised number when trying to ring back scam

Called advising fraudulent use of NI number, and to Press 1 etc.

got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. few mins later someone rang quoting my name and address saying we had been getting unwanted calls. they could block these calls etc sounded good till charge of 1.90 a month mentioned. i asked who reported these calls but he said it was a general thing people in this area were suffering from. after hung up I checked the number of who called and was same as first caller who had hung up. these are the very same people we dont want calls from surely?

Phone rang twice then hung up. I phoned the number , it turned out to be a telemarketing company selling finance/insurance on behalf of Unite The Union

I don t answer any of these numbers as I recognise the code but these people keep ringing me on my work number and I work for a bank! Not sure where they get their data from but doubt it s legit and they certainly haven t done their research first!

It is an automated service and when I called back I was informed of who called me and told not to worry as it s a courtesy call and not an emergency. A trustworthy number

Called me now at work and when I answered they hung up, this area code phones me a lot and as it is my home code I answer.
