I get calls from someone saying they are from talktalk technical department and they call most days. There is no number on my phone to check but I nearly fell for this scam until they wanted me to download software to fix my computer. When they ring now all I say is this call is being monitored and will be traced and they hang up straight away.Its time they were caught they must get our details from somebody. Tom

Same as other people, some Indian sounding guy claiming to be from BT about disconnecting my internet because of a virus on my computer. Told him where to go and blocked the number.

This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). I explained I did not trust cold callers, so they asked me for an email address. They sent me the email which looked genuine. But it had a different number to the one one the official website.
