Lady with Indian accent called from "the pharmacy" about my prescription items ,would I be in to receive them this afternoon? She knew my name, address and postcode. I questioned her repeatedly - was she perhaps calling the wrong person - and she told me that it was glucosamine "which we're sending out to all pensioners". Recorded scam message advising from bank security
Just had a scam call from this number telling me I had two transactions going through 300 and 1000, ignore calls from this number

Said they were calling from Amazon about a high value order I placed. Asked me to confirm. I knew straight away it was a scam as the caller was trying to panic me into cancelling the order and log into account

Definitely a scam. They obtained a DHL notification for something ordered overseas then try and make you think you need to pay import duty. Do not ring as number transfers to foreign network.
Silent call
The caller said she was from O2 and We were due for a free gift of Wireless Headphones as a security what was my place of birth. I found out that the fraudsters had chaned my password by going on the O2 website and requesting a 6 digit number and asking me to give it to them.. I don't thimk I have suffered losses . I obviously reset my password. The caller was an Indian female, this is not unusual as, Indian Call Centres are experts in fraud I have been involved in investigating Indian call centre.

Silent call on answer, rang the number back, got an American female recorded voice about online appliance servicing and to leave details to be called back. Had to ring twice to work out what the recorded voice was saying as it was spoken quickly, to the point it seems designed that way to mislead. I suspect these are some kind of call-back scam. Calls have come after interacting with Estate agents online, before that nothing except years ago, when the same thing happened after dealing with estate
