Silent call on a landline I rarely use, usually only called by scammers.
Unrecognised tele number that actually left a message in the form of a female electronic voice with US accent. Message didn’t begin as you would expect - seems to come in part way through a sentence - but the gist suggests an arrest warrant for financial irregularities has been issued & to call the number back. No name reference etc. Clear fraud. Number blocked but will keep in case of a future similar call from a similar number & pass to the authorities. Derbys.

I was called by 01131132840 today 15/12/14, Indian sounding lady, telling me she has been tracking my use an can see my Computer has various problems, virus etc and that she can help me, usual rubbish. knowing that she was going to try and access my PC to either download virus or steal my personal info I asked her sarcasticaly do u need to remotely access my computer?! She answered I m not saying that and immediately hung up on me!

My caller display showed international 01242513505. Had two call in last hour said from BT, advised my router faulty, told me go turn on computer immediately almost barking instructions......got. This number rang my mobile today. Caller was male, but the line very crackly, so I was unable to catch what they were saying. Quality of the line makes me think it was being rerouted from elsewhere in the world. They haven't rung back so I can only assume it was a phishing type call. I have blocked it.

Fraud. A recorded voice told me that my visa card was being used to purchase something in the region of £600. I was supposed to press '1' but the voice didn't say what for!! I tried calling the number but it doesn't exist. Beware!
