This Southport area code number called me today at 15.50hrs. No message left so either a scam artist trying to flog something dubious or a kid with 10p pieces. No message left.

It was auto call telling me my name was being used against a tax fraud and if i didn't press 1 the frraud would be sent in my name. Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.
