Had a call from a number very similar just minutes before. Man was very abusive when I questioned who he was. I hung up and blocked then received calls from this number. They wouldn t talk just hung up

Indian scammers posing as BT tech support. Ask them for your address. If they really were from BT they would know it They will say your computer showed up on their server as being hacked. If that was really the case then why don't they have your address? Ask them for your IP address as the only way your "computer" could show up on a BT server is with an IP address (except BT don't monitor for this sort of thing and wouldn't phone you up about it). SCAM / SPAM - Called me saying that I had been in an accident and that I had unclaimed compensation. Usual blah blah, called twice today on this number and three times on Monday from 0333 303 4836. Annoying and potentially dangerous for unsuspecting people as I assume they want to either harvest data or attempt to scam by taking bank details/ card details. Have now blocked.
