Rings for a few seconds then when you pick the phone up it s cut off already.

In the middle of eating dinner when the phone rang. I answered and no one responded. After a time the line went dead.

I was getting a call from this number 3-4 times a day for nearly 2 weeks. I finally managed to get to the phone to answer it and it was from "My Offers". They are an online survey company. They said I completed a survey about Scottish Power. I advised them I most certainly didn t as I avoid utility companies at all costs and never fill in surveys about them.

Polite female caller with Cheshire/Lancashire/Manchester accent about half an hour ago saying she was from the Workers Party of Wales, and that I was listed as having worked in heavy industry (I was actually a civil servant before retiring).
