They ring up to 5 times a day most calls silent but when they do speak its with a strong asia accent its really annoying we too are on tps begining to think they have somthing to do with it as they are not stopping them

I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. After telling the first caller that I would be reporting them to TPS I received another call 3 minutes later from an arrogant agent calling himself Victor. No idea who keeps calling me from this number 07989908386 , all calls go to my telephone answering machine but no message is ever left.
This number has called me twice .Telling me he is phoning me from Canada.He stated his name was James.He was desperate to get in to my computer,saying that he had serviced and cleaned my computer before.He said that I had paid £280 to have my computer serviced and cleaned by them every year.He knew my email address and quoted my late cousin's name.He also knew my password from a few years ago. When I told him that I had been warned never to let anyone near my computer remotely.he slammed the phone down

Rang back - no ring tone
SCAM - recorded message claiming to be from HMRC to inform me that there was an "tax investigation" against me and I needed to press 1 to give extra information etc. If I failed to do so then a warrant would be issued and i would be arrested shortly.!!!

Fraud - automated voice stating they are from HMR and want a call back on a number. If you don't call back you will face legal consequences.
