Called to advise me I needed a pension review. Incorrect and out of date information given by them, called using a number I ve never given out to anyone as its in a device with voice calls forwarded to my other phone. Divulged private details without authentication. Definitely sounds like a scam.

A lady called Samantha called my friend, they ask card numbers and although they should have customer details they still ask, what they do is not "illegal" in the sense of law they are simply saying that they are providing a service which they sell over the phone, however i would suggest that no one ever gives any bank details over the phone or indeed to anyone in the street, they can and will be misused.
This number is a green line, probably for some company as a client's service number where the call is paid by the company itself. Haven't found which company owns this number, has anyone seen it before? Main question is where they got my number...
