They will tell you their name is Mike and that they are with some company. They will say your phone number was chosen at random from the Verizon database and you have one a million dollars and a Mercedes-Benz.

Dopey Indian scammer trying to tell me there is something wrong with my internet, running the same old short con of getting the innocent victim to type in random commands to show something is supposedly wrong. This wasn t a particularly bright one either as only knew one cmd command before giving up. I ve had them go on up to half an hour in the past. everytime I ask them to give me the company name they hang up, number shows as a London area code but when you call back it s dead? using IP phones with local area codes for the UK, going by their accents I would say most probably coming from India.
