Trying to infiltrate my computer! Foreign (Asian, but not Indian) callcentre purportedly from BT, to help stop strangers using my Internet line. I said I don t have BT & was told BT is umbrella organisation through which Talk Talk, Virgin, PlusNet etc are providing my services. Told him I have passwords but he insisted that people have bypassed these. Kept saying: We will fix it now . First man I spoke to was reading from a script. SCAM. Recorded message on 6th April alleging that I there is a tax fraud case associated with my name and to press 1 to speak to a case officer. I ended the call and immediately blocked the number!
SCAM Jack claimed to be from VISA reporting a dodgy transaction then tried to find out details of account.

Got a call from a guy who said he was calling from online support technologies on behalf of Microsoft because they had identified errors on my computer. When I said I d googled his company and couldn t find it he claimed that he was part of Online Support Ltd. Later in the call he said he was called Chris Gardner. He claimed he knew the clsid of my computer and tried to talk me through getting the clsid so that he could get it from me. He said it would cost ?490 to fix the errors on my computer. I said my
