Ballantyne is listed as a Director of 'Home Cover Group Limited' yet another company offering extended warranties for home appliances. Their telephone number is 0333 2125609. Fraud Left a computerised voicemail claiming that my Amazon account had been compromised, and that a refurbished iPhone had been ordered, costing over £300. Message was threatening to close my account if I don’t press 1, to speak to ‘Amazon primes fraud department’. Funnily enough, there’s no order on my account!

I answered it almost immediately, but just silence then a click before they hung up. I called it back from another (withheld) number and got some background hold music and an squeaky American voice saying "Your call is very important to us". Hung

SCAM purports to be from Sky Media but the call is about my "Internet Connection which appears fine but isn't as multiple people are trying to access it right now" what utter BS! He was told as much as well, maybe if these conmen weren't struggling to read their scripts and calling supposed customers 'dude' and 'mate' it would be slightly more believable, utter scumbags... I hope they get traced and fined!
