Please explain as where you obtained my phone number, as under current British Law it is unlawful to make unsolicited for which fines can be instigated. SCAM Fraud SPAM - Comes up on caller ID as "Bartlams fitted bedrooms"!!! When asked where caller got my number he said "because you are a customer of Vodafone"! (so nothing to do with bathrooms then! I said No I am not and he hung up. Definate scam/spam

SCAM - Recorded message claiming to be VISA saying 2 large purchases had been made on my visa card (I don't have one) so deffo a scam. Shame it was a recorded message or I would have been happy to insult them in new and inventive ways.

Despite being ex-directory and TPS registered, these cold-callers had my name but were after more information, before they could tell me if I qualify for whatever they are peddling - spray foam insulation this time. Ended the call and reported them to TPS - I recommend anyone to do the same.
Asked for my Mum, who died 3 years ago. No apology when I mentioned this and they just continued with the call. I asked what the call was about and they went silent so I hung up.

It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.
SCAM / SPAM Automated message saying it's HMRC calling regarding a fraud case. I doubt the HMRC would call in this way. They ask you to press 1 to sort the issue. I would assume they start charging you an extortionate fee if you press the number. Do not press. If HMRC want to get in touch with you, they will do it with a person on the phone, not an automated message.
