They gave me the details of my account, bit of a hard sell but eventually ended up adding over 20Gb per month and free subscription for an extra £2 pcm without extension to contract. Details showed in Vodafone app within minutes. Genuine call but a hard sales person, very very persistant.

This is a number for HMRC (VAT?) Debt Management in Cumbernauld - but VERY difficult to get through to! If you find it impossible try 01313465906 - but depending on who you get to answer, the Edin ofice will either take your query or if you get one of the stroppy ones they ll just tell you you must keep trying Cumbernauld - and it s YOUR responsiblity (fault?) if you can t get through. When asked about sending an e-mail you will be met with something like "No! You can t e-mail them - what do you want - ser
SCAM. This is a scam number, I received a call from this mobile number today purporting to be from my bank saying I had two large withdrawals one to Amazon and one to an overseas account and I should press 2 to speak to an operator about them or press 1 to cancel the payments straight away before the money left my account. I hung up and checked on line banking, no such withdrawals made so this is a scam.

There are some dodgy people going around London fixing stickers to peoples doorbells and front doors that say "24/7 LOCKSMITH 07379 253 353". There have been news reports that these type of stickers are used by criminals to identify which properties can later be burgled. This may or may not be the case with these stickers but any locksmith that advertises by sticking stickers on other peoples property without permission, are untrustworthy in my book.
