SCAM / SPAM Scammers pretending to be HMRC! They pretended to be an HMRC call centre and pick up the line from a queue asking what it is about before they got my name in order to check and find out. Once they got that, they told me I am wanted for fraud, which is a criminal offence and asked if I have a criminal lawyer I can contact. This is a scam pretending to be an Amazon call centre as they had our email and then changed our Amazon account password, that generated an email to us with an OTD code. The scammer then wanted us to give him that code so they could take over the account. DO NOT GIVE THEM THAT CODE AND HANG UP THE CALL AND BLOCK THE NUMBER
