This number sent me a text message scam saying a new Paypal device had signed into my account. Suffice to say that's not true. Tried to call the number to no success. Be wary

Called by 02383606872, decided to pick it up today. They said they were from the telephone preference agency and mine had run out I would need to pay to keep it in place. I started laughing at this point as this IS A FREE UK SERVICE. She then became VERY RUDE and called me a BI-NOD. I asked what that was and she told me to Google it. Well I have and I’m none the wiser but it does mean the call was actually from INDIA. Well the call entertained me before work anyway.

Caller knew my first name but claimed to be a debt recovery service (I have no debts), they could not even master English very well. Also called on a Bank Holiday!.
Wanted to discuss a non-existent car accident claim, definitely a scam.
1471 revealed that an unanswered call came from this number. When I tried phoning back the number was not recognised. Obviously an unwanted nuisance call.
Left a message stating I d been in a car accident in last 3yrs (I haven t) - ambulance chasers.
Repeatedly rings my mobile number - Never anyone on the phone
