The good old 'BT is going to cut you off' scam from a brand new number
Text at 10 past midnight claiming to be from Amazon, surely can’t be difficult to track down those responsible.
Predatory Accident Helpline company. Rang every number in our office (60+ phones) twice, asking the same question "Have you had an accident recently?". Idiots.
Smiths installed a door for me on a recommendation from a neighbour. CANNOT STOP THEM COLD CALLING! Avoid!!
Got home to find a recorded message the same as George (above) has reported. Talk of ?1000 and pension etc and press 5 or 9. I did not press anything and just deleted the message.
SCAM, claims that your O2 bill wasn't paid and has a link to follow. I don't think O2 would use an EE number. And my phone isn't an O2 phone.
Called today. Computer generated voice asked me to 'press 1' for something or other. When I didn't, it hung up. Obvious scam.
I don t like sales calls on my private mobile as it is, it s an intrusion and a waste of my time but when they lie about having information they don t to try to rope you into their offers, that really makes my blood boil. I have NEVER bought PPI, she also tried to tell me it might be from a loan or credit cards. I have never had loans or credit cards. Clutching at straws she then asked if I have a mortgage - well of course I do but I wasn t giving her anything! Clearly if they knew some "important" problem
Have received a number of calls from this number the caller rambles on about a BT Sport package which does not make sense. I have tried to call the number back but receive a message that the number I have dialed has not been recognized.

I had a phone call (from Vodafone) to my contract mobile yesterday (06-01-14) mid day. He said about 4g is now available on my phone for a fee of ?5.00 and that he noted on my account. I know 4G isn t available in my home town yet either! I did say I will speak to my local store.
