Texted "a verification code" I hadn't requested and wasn't doing anything recently that required one and don't know anything about, unusual to get a verification code from a mobile # and not a business line, probably spam ?

Called from Yodafone apparently. Told them this was not the gullible sucker they were looking for.

Be careful, I was called with an offer from ‘Currys Carphonewarehouse’ to reduce my mobile sim cost while upgrading the data and minutes allowance and the scammers already had a lot of my personal information including the monthly cost of my current sim plan. The dodgy email account they sent me a confirmation email from was info@currysales.co.uk. They also called me on 07842778977, 07843577187 & 07848628655. Another landline number associated with the scammers is 02034042911.
