rang saying he was from a firm of Solicitors Goldsmith and another name I did not catch say the law had changed and claims for PPI etc which had not been done correct could now be re considered , I said Solicitors and law firms dont do anything for nothing

Landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated), mostly as PPI or insurance claims - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different companies, but for sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 20363426xx range... Did so
