This seems to be an automated call, probably some call centre machine (PPI?) testing if the number is alive. I would not pick it up...don't call them back, the line is for shared costs.

PPI claims, called me despite being on the TPS, tried to claim they checked the database and I wasn't on it, the lying cnuts.

This number calla regularly. Fortunately, my phone requires a response from the person calling, otherwise the call is not put through. I just wish that, whoever it is, would realise that he/she/it is never going to get an answer!!
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438707xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
