This no and others constantly phone mobile after my entering competition to win ipad and the cost is deducted from my mobile!

I made payment to these people too, for advertising in an upcoming event brochure of almost ?230, (I stupidly paid twice, as they rang back the next day and said the payment hadn t gone through, I did actually check with my bank, and there was nothing showing as having gone through the day before, but it did appear within a few days]. Drop call about 2 seconds after a "private number" accident claim call so undoubtedly same company.

This number is repeatedly calling me, sometimes no answer. Sometimes Asian voice. Have been on price comparison site recently and it started from then, so beware!

Have been ringing me for days and finally caught me out when I answered. Said their records show they could save me some money on my mortgage! The following steps are suggested:

My phone was Rang and when answered nothing. Probably called from a computer from scam company similar to pinging an ip address

Stated they are calling to carry out a survey. Stated they got my number from one of their partner companies . Gave a list that included o2 amongst about 7 others. Basically fishing for info/interest to see if they can pass your details on to other companies - virgin, british gas, sky etc.

The guy said he was calling from boilers on benefits, I asked whereabouts in the country he is, then cut off. Waste their time, be abusive etc. And maybe it will deter these kid...

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. They called and closed the call. I have tried the call back 8 times and there is a brief untintelligible message of which only "Sir" can be understood and the answering machine starts... I think must be those useless piece of shit of "Perfect Benefit" but I hope I am wrong...

This was another silent call, pick the phone up and no-one answers.
