Said they were calling from my bank due to an overpayment of an insurance policy..told them it was not possible as I had no policy with bank they were quite pushy so told them they have my details send me a cheque!

wanted to help me claim for industrial industries compensation for working in a noisy environment. Wouldn t give any information about why he thought I could claim, or about his company.
Sick of these people ringing my phone do not know where they got their information from. Despite me blocking they come through on another line. Do not trust and when you tell them you don’t want to speak to them they get threatening.
Fraud - pretending to be Edinburgh sheriffs court threatening that your national insurance number will be suspended. Hang up.

Likewise, it was Facebook calling back after i sent a msg to their help centre after receiving a dodgy email about boosting an advert.
a text claiming to be from npower to fit smart meter to an address 200 miles away from me..... text back to confirm, change etc . A dangerous scam, texting would cost a fortune....
