SCAM Foreign caller claiming that I have a bitcoin account that I didn’t know about. I have already heard of this scam and ended the call. I think the aim would be to obtain legitimate personal banking details from targeted individuals.

They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.

SCAM ALERT A man claiming to be from the national grid wanting to turn our electricity off to fit a new meter then we were owed a refund. Telephoned both our energy supplier and National grid and both confirmed it was nothing to do with them.

Call centre sounds in background. Thick Asian accent introduced call as UK Health Survey. Clearly a scam so hung up

This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. Didnt deliver called to chase no answer but charged 170 on bill absolute joke eventually turned up 11 days late with no notice and left outside by front door in pouring rain

Phoned to say money had been taken from my account to pay amazon and sent abroad, kept asking for my account number, told him i would phone the fraud dept at my bank and give them his number and they can talk to each other. He then rang off, now blocked this number.

Called this number back. No answer. No message left to me and no ability to leave a message their end. Highly likely a spam call do not answer

SCAM Offering me an NHS covid pass

Said they were from my local bank but couldn't actually say which bank. Didn't trust them.

Had a few missed calls off this number over a few days, then one morning at 5am, my phone woke me up by calling this number by itself on speaker. My phone is fingerprint/pin locked, and my applock app registered two failed attempts to access my phone's settings. Everyone in the house was asleep and I've yet to find an explanation. Phone completely scanned for malware and came up clean. Very perturbing.

Silent call Missed call SPAM I was called by this number around 30minutes after a different +44, it is not actually the local number calling, potentially a spam/scam as usually once the number is searched online. A legit company is linked to the full number I.e (0)122 etc but it's displaying at +44. I answered one call and no one spoke, no background noise, because I didn't initiate a Coversation, they cleared, I blocked the number, I've checked my blocklist, they attempted to call me two more times after,

This number is a sham about supposed unauthorised bank transfer

This was an unknown number and the caller said he was my computer technician,,,,,,,,he isnt.
