SCAM received a txt message saying this was the post office, who attempted to deliver a parcel, providing name and link to contact them back. I investigated the number- registered only 2 month ago in another UK city, web site identified this number as belonging to the Russian Federation.

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. This is for the government eco4 scheme, the gentleman who called was trying to qualify people for the free incentive. from what I gather they are putting people through to government contractors, if you qualify. I have oil heating, so i was told that there was no funding at the moment. polite gentleman, who said that if i did qualify all the contactors that are assigned to the customer can be checked on line or through cheka trade etc. any company that can be checked through those measures sounds ok.

This number called telling me fraudulent activity had happened on my official ID card, which I do not have. I was asked to push one for urgent connection with their agent. I did nothing assuming it was a scam, or spam.
I called back this number and it said it was a unrecognised number so seems like a scam. It was on my work number so its annoying as you think you missed a important call.
