Got the same call today, preceded by a text appearing as from 'Ulster Bank'. Automated voice seemed to know my name and surname initial, but this number doesn't seem to belong to UB (fraud team's number is different and this doesn't appear on their website
Say's he is from TalkTalk and that my machine is sending malicious code to their server! When I declined to assist made the threat that he would disconnect my account, when I told him to do what he must he hung up.
A company offering some form of compensation if you've been on an all-inclusive holiday in last 3 years. Another sort of "PPI style" nuisance call in my opinion. I hung up after saying not interested.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 1618142xxx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already - mostly as insurance marketing, PPI - car accident chasers, "1st call group" or "Pensions Advisory Service". No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?
Callcenter that keeps calling for surveys or "imporant business calls", they always ask for the manager. They keep stalking us despite us explicitly asking them to stop calling us, sometimes several times per day.

Just found out that £79•99 has been taken from my account by a cpmpamy called mgi. I didnt make the payment via card and had to call my bank to cancel my card. They told me i have to wait 3 days to see if the payment is taken as it is pending so i cant stop it. This is a joke and the company should be prosecuted for it. I want my money back. we all earn our money so why should we have to loose it like this. I feel sory for all those who have lost money to these people..
