Received a text saying I needed to call this number urgently - idiotically called them back as I was expecting an important call from another company and thought it might be them. Instead, I was left on hold for about a millennium and eventually got through to MMS or NMS , at which point I hung up in disgust.

Got missed call. I called this number back as it was a landline. I got an answer machine saying Press 1 if you want to opt out, press 2 if you want to opt in. I suspect pressing 1 would mean I have agreed to pay for a premium call. Block it!

Scam. Claiming to be from "Phonehouse" and wanted full details of my mobile phone model and contract in order to give me a "good deal". I wasn't going to do this and fully refused before they hung up on me. Sounded very noisy where they were.
No one there on answering the call (or too slow for me...), so just hung up & blocked it.
