This is a scam number -- supposedly there was an unauthorized withdrawal from your credit card account and you have to call this number to get it cancelled. it's the kind of thing BT could stop in an instant, but they couldn't care less.

Claims to be from Virgin Media but on the EE network, sent text claiming a payment hadn't been made and gives link to fill out all personal details including bank information. DO NOT RESPOND
Whoever this is (and they refused to say when questioned) is clearly cold calling. Our work phones in the office are almost sequential numbers and over the past two days we have all been getting called from this same number. Very rude when told no accident, just put the phone down on us all.

the call i received was no caller ID, but this was the contact number they gave. bogus call, says you havent received the payout yet from the accident. the date of the accident and reg number are both made up. they dont give any other information. hesitate
