Usual silent call .. probably the same tw@ts that have been calling me from India, but making it look like the Isle of Man, to allow them onto my PC to fix a BT broadband issues ..
Declared he was calling from an organisation that s working with the government, I m not convinced. They always seem to say the company name so quickly you miss it. He said the call was regarding banks taking unfair payments in their interest rates, or similar. Really persistent that it wasn t PPI related but kept referring to "mis-sold extras". Do not trust them! Any cold callers ringing and asking about finances are up to no good!
