its a scam even if it is 118 because they sell your data at no gain to you. If its unsolicited hang up because I have never seen any unsolicited call from an unknown person being to your benefit - normally its quite the opposite.

SCAM Claiming to be EE international, never heard EE call them themselves before. Tried to offer me an amazing deal on a iPhone 4, a phone that came out 10 years ago. Think I stick with my Google Pixel 6 thanks. When I asked to be taken off there call list the caller got aggressive and angry. Think he was mad because couldn't scam me.
SCAM Got a call just now from 020 8089 6127 by a South African sounding woman, saying she was from a company called Teabag, and she went on the say I understand you have defrauded out of money on-line and want to get it back. When I asked how she got my name and phone number she hung up.
This number has made calls to my number and hung up when answered. Number DISPLAYED is 01736 312007 - but actual caller is 363062. I called back and was left to answer machine.
