I had a similar call. Female caller said she was calling from talk talk and that there was a problem with my broadband. Asked me to turn off all wifi. I suggested she get lost.

It’s a logging number. The idea is for you to call back at which point the call disconnects. What they have then is confirmation of an active number to add to a sales list which is then sold on. Avoid.
