Received a suspicious call from this number claiming to be from EE. The caller had a strong Indian accent and asked for my account details. Immediately sensed a scam and hung up. Remember, never disclose your personal information to unsolicited calls.

This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.

On checking with this website I find this number is in Manchester Uk, as was the number they asked me to WhatsApp. My son, on the other hand is nowhere even close to the Uk.

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

This number tried to call me twice. I don’t know who they are. I did not answer the first time, the second time I made my boyfriend answer and they hung up on him as soon as he said hello. Text from this number claims to be from Barclays saying a payment was set up to someone. It included a link, which I didn't use, as I don't bank with Barclays. Obviously a scam.
This number seems to be reported as Virgin Bank, Clysesdale Bank and lots of other banks, including Yorkshire Bank (as shown on my phone) my I don't have a Yorkshire Bank account. So I am very suspicious of this number, how can it be for many different banks?! I think it's spam!
