SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.
SCAM The caller claims to be from Amazon and in this call discussed my having two Amazon Prime accounts, one with an annual fee and the other with a monthly subscription. She asked whether I wished to cancel the yearly subscription. I replied yes preferring to determine the account on a monthly basis. She then said she would send a text with a code that would demonstrate she was genuinely from Amazon. Shortly I received a text from Amazon which was an OTP - one time password. SPAM Although this call comes up as being from Southampton; it is not. Both my husband and I have had this call several times. On examination, the very nice lady called Jenny said she was calling from South East Asia. I was polite to her and asked that we are taken off he calling list as these continous calls were an absolute nuiscance.

Recieved call from this number on my work phone. I am a building manager located in Auckland, New Zealand and have nothing to do with the locality it is based in. Going by past experience calls to my work phone from overseas numbers are always scams, didn't answer and having looked on this website it appears I was correct.
Called at 12.30 pm 7.3.22. This number supposedly from Manchester area is unknowm to me. Unable to get to the phone and left no message on ansaphone.

Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

Claiming to be citizens advice which unless you've called them which i havnt they dont call you. Hung up and blocked.
