Indian call centre just rang me from this number claiming to be from an accident helpline. I asked where he got my number from, he said why are you asking me this question. I said I have a right to ask, he said you re a p***y and called me a b*stard and all sorts. I looked on the Ofcom numbering database and the number range is registered to JTEC UK LTD who guess what don t have a website or contact details on the net. I ll report this to BT and to Ofcom and to my telephone service provider.

SCAM Guy called Daniel Gomes purporting to be from Amazon Prime informing me that someone in Manchester had tried to use my account and they needed to verify my details or my account would be suspended for my protection. I did not supply any information, but was told to think about it and call back on 0208 123 7233 which I certainly did not do. I was called again later and this time I hung up. I have received genuine e-mails from Amazon mentioning this type of scam.
This is NOT the youth hostel. The hostel closed several years ago. The number is now a private residence.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036346xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with direct marketing, insurance marketing, accident claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? SCAM Indian lady wanted me to give her my bank account details and dob in order to refund me £202. She said she represented Sky refund dept who had discovered they had been overcharging me for the past 12 months. I said that was odd as I am not a Sky customer. She gave her work address as 81 Newgate St, London. I pointed out that address is occupied by BT. She said Yes, BT and Sky now work together. She gave the postcode as OA4902. I pointed out there is no such postcode in UK.
