I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. If it’s not a scam she seriously needs training how to talk to people Number is block

Received a call from this 020 37270486, there was an automated message stating that the call is from HMRC and there was a fraud case linked to my name and if I didn’t press 1 to speak to an advisor I’d immediately go to jail. I then got connected to an advisor with non british accent that asked me my name, I was busy looking the number up online so told the person to hold the line and he hung up immediately. This number has tried numerous times to call my phone and i have answered it twice. The first time it was an indian sounding fella called "james" in a very noisy call centre wanting to speak to my wife and it was a welcome call as she had signed up to some website. I asked who was calling and he couldn t tell me because of data protection and i said data protection has got nothing to do with him telling me who the company was that was calling. I received a call from this number today (14.04.23) - did not pick up phone but they left a message, that there have been "unusual activites/transcation" on my card (not mentioned which one). They asked to press #1 to cancle these transactions or #2 to speak to a member of their support team. COMPLETE SCAM!
