When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. This is Smith Glass in Basildon, they constantly call me trying to sell Double Glazing, even though on numerous times I f have them I am not interested and need to remove me from their database. Last time I spoke to them the chav on the end of the marketing line was aggressive.

The call purpoting to be from HM Revenue dept was suspicious. The correct name Her Majesty s Revenue and Customs, commonly abbreviated as HMRC never initiate communication by telephone, only by letter. Call not returned.

They called me twice. I did not answer and tried to call back but the number was unobtainable.
