Woman with bad English reading from a script. Said she was from british gas and wanted us to give our postcode, account number and meter number. We said no and she said she would ring back. Obviously a dodgy call centre as other people have said other companies and reasons for the call! BLOCKED!!

A silent call - I didn't verbally answer and an automated voice hung up with 'Goodbye'
These people have been ringing me twice daily for about two weeks. They rang me four times today and I finally picked up - total nonsense, a man on the end of the line explained that he was calling about a bank loan I took out in 2006 . I was fourteen in 2006. What a bunch of morons.

Man with a strong Asian accent called one evening claiming to be from "Lloyds Bank" asking to talk to the "account holder" and confirm security details. SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions.
